Most beautiful chapters of my life - My daughter's

(Inset picture of me with my daughters- Ghibli studio art picture of us)© International Mother's day was on the 11th May 2025 and I wrote this poem for my daughter's *Most beautiful chapters of my life - My daughter's* My dearest daughter's, Before you came, a whisper of fear, A mother's doubt, a shadow drawing near. Would I be worthy? Could I show the way? My own path winding, still searching for my day. But in your eyes, a light began to gleam, A promise whispered, a hopeful, joyful dream. I'll guide you gently, help you find your stride, Through doubt and darkness, I will be your guide. My precious child, as you step out and fly, My heart takes flight, and follows you so high. Though I can't shield you, in every place you roam, My love's embrace, will be your constant home. I'll watch you soar, with lessons I impart, A guiding light, forever in your heart. The strength I've taught you, will carry you through, Each challenge faced, my love will see you through. The world may test you, in ways I cannot know, But wisdom gained, will help your spirit grow. With every triumph, every lesson learned with care, My love's enduring strength, beyond compare. So spread your wings, my darlings, and take flight, May goodness guide you, and your future shine so bright. And know that always, though unseen, unheard, My love's protection, forever is assured. No perfect mother, only love and grace, To watch you blossom, in your own time and space. Be strong and fearless, let your spirit soar, Believe in yourself, and open every door. Some may try to dim your inner light, To make you smaller, and diminish your might. But know this truth, my darling, brave and bold, You can achieve your dreams, a future to unfold. When my time is done, and life's short chapters close, My love, my pride, my heart will overflow. You, my sweet daughters, a masterpiece untold, My most beautiful chapter, precious as pure gold. - Sukanya Yogesh © "Nowadays I'm making them watch 1 episode of Ramanand Sagar's Ramayana and they try to escape as they find the pace too slow. Yet I'm keen they watch what we watched while growing up. So a few more words with regards to that from Mahakaviyatri Sue😜😂" *Explaining Ramayana to my daughter's* My dearest girls, I understand the Ramayana's length may seem a trial, A task that tests your patience, and makes you want to run and smile. But even now, this ancient tale, holds truths we all should know, Of goodness fighting darkness, a light that helps us grow. It's more than just a story, it's of our Lord's might and grace, The triumph of good over evil, a victory to embrace. Though boredom whispers, trust my love and understand, There's wisdom to be learned, from this ancient, sacred land. I ask you now to listen, with hearts both open wide, For in this ancient story, truths for your lives reside. Believe in my intentions, for all I do is said, To guide you to a brighter future, paths ahead. - Sukanya Yogesh ©
